Top Down Shooter

This Top-Down Shooter is a fast-paced action prototype developed over a small timeline as my very first introduction to Unreal Engine. The project was built specifically to get hands-on experience with the engine's core architecture, gameplay scripting, and to master the foundations of component-based actor workflows.

The core gameplay centres around a responsive, 360-degree top-down movement and aiming loop featuring a dynamic weapon cycling system. This setup challenged me to implement game logic that randomly selects and configures a unique weapon blueprint for the player upon every respawn, forcing me to manage clean pipelines, projectile spawning math, and decoupled weapon data arrays.
